BARNEY, Chief Judge.
Harrison A. Elder (“Appellant”) appeals from the denial of his Rule 29.07(d) motion by which he sought to vacate and set aside the sentence and judgment of the Circuit Court of Dunklin County entered on April 26, 1995.1 The plea court had sentenced Appellant to a term of six years’ imprisonment in the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections pursuant to a plea bargain agreement in which Appellant had pled guilty to committing the crime of sodomy.2 More than five years later, Appellant filed a motion pursuant to Rule 29.07(d).
