INTRODUCTION

The Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, Inc. (the “Debtor”) is the debtor in this Chapter 11 case. Among its many activities, it operates a pooled investment program on behalf of the Diocese. 2 The Debtor operates the program through an account (the “PIA”) in the Debtor’s name. Numerous entities affiliated with the Diocese have deposited, in aggregate, approximately $75 million in the pooled investment program.
