MEMORANDUM OPINION
DECKER, District Judge.
Plaintiff Photon, Inc. seeks to enforce two photocomposition patents, Caldwell 2,670,665 and Higonnet 3,332,617. Defendant Eltra Corporation (formerly Mergenthaler Linotype Company) manufactures five different devices charged *135with infringement. Logan Square Typographers, Inc. uses certain accused machines at its Chicago plant. Eltra has also counterclaimed against Photon on three related patents.
