This cause is brought to this court on writ of error to the circuit court of Cook county to review a judgment of that court affirming the award of the Industrial Commission.
At the time of the accident in question the plaintiff in error and defendant in error, Alfred A. Habel, were working under and subject to the provisions of the Workmen's Compensation act. The accident arose out of and in the course of the employment. The award was for six dollars for a period of 6¼ weeks for total temporary, incapacity for work, and a further award of six dollars per week for a period of 17½ weeks, as…
