In the past this court has dealt with a variety of claims involving animals, including two dogs and a cat.1 horses,2 geese,3 chickens4 and now in this case, turkeys. Plaintiff entered into two contracts to supply the United States Department of Agriculture with canned turkey and chicken parts for the Department’s school lunch program. The contracts called for delivery o'f the poultry products at specified times at a fixed-price per pound.
