MAUGHMER, Commissioner.

This is a suit by Samuel Chard, a minor, through his mother as next friend, to recover damages for personal injuries allegedly caused by the negligence of defendant Clarkson Construction Company. This cause was submitted to the jury and it returned a verdict in favor of plaintiff for $11,200. Defendant offered no evidence and elected to stand upon its motion for directed verdict which was presented at the close of plaintiff’s evidence.
