SANBORN, Circuit Judge.
On August 29,1932, at about 10 o’clock a. m., a Dodge sedan belonging to and driven by H. Elsa Hartfeil collided with a Chevrolet coupé owned and driven by Arthur P. Mehrstedt. Miss Hartfeil was seriously injured, and site brought tin's action against Mehrstedt, Standard Historical Society, Inc., and P. P. Collier & Son Company, alleging that the accident and her injuries were due to the negligence of Mehrstedt and that at the time the accident occurred he was in the employ of the other defendants and operating his ear in the furtherance of their business.
