Normal Triplett, Beech Triplett, and Oakley Triplett, brothers, were indicted in the Morgan circuit court, charged with the crime of murder committed by the killing of Noah Lykins. They were tried together. Beech and Oakley were acquitted. Normal was, by the verdict of the jury, found guilty of the crime of voluntary manslaughter, and his punishment fixed at ten years in the penitentiary.
