The sole issue in this case is whether the district court had jurisdiction in a child custody case at the time and under circumstances to be narrated.

We have a related case, this day decided, In re Homer (No. 37,271) 166 Kan. 48, 199 P. 2d 499, involving the custody of the same child in which the procedural steps and orders of the juvenile court are challenged.
