This was a habeas corpus proceedings. On January 27, 1948, plaintiffs filed their petition in the district court of Sedgwick county in which they alleged that they are husband and wife and the parents of Carolyn Diane Walker, aged three years; that defendants have unlawful possession and control of the child and forcibly maintain such possession and control contrary to the desires and wishes of the petitioners; that on December 3, 1947, defendants unlawfully had a guardian appointed for the child by the probate court of Sedgwick county…
