I dissent from the majority opinion in this case for reasons to be hereinafter set out and I further believe it was a mistake when this Court in the case of Dealers Transport Company v. Battery Distributing Company, Ky., 402 S.W.2d 441, abandoned the settled law of this state as it relates to the negligence of one involved in the sale and distribution of consumer products and substituted for that law a doctrine known as “strict liability” or “manufacturers liability.” The doctrine of “strict liability” in the sale and distribution of consumer products has had an interesting and controversial…
