Defendant was convicted of, among other things, one count of sexual abuse in the first degree, ORS 163.427, for rubbing the buttocks of an eight-year-old girl whom he encountered in a public library; the touching went on for several minutes, ending when the victim’s mother spotted defendant and he fled.
