DIANA GRIBBON MOTZ, Circuit Judge:

Terry B. Pressley appeals the enhancement of his sentence under the Armed Career Criminal Act, 18 U.S.C. § 924(e) (1994). He contends that the district court erred in concluding that his prior conviction for common law breach of the peace constituted a “previous conviction” within the meaning of § 924(e).
