RYAN, Circuit Judge.
These are personal injury and wrongful death actions brought under the Federal Tort Claims Act, 28 U.S.C. § 1346(b). The district court entered judgment for the plaintiffs after rejecting the government’s contention that it was entitled to immunity under the discretionary function exception *95to governmental tort liability in 28 U.S.C. § 2680(a). We reverse.
