At the times mentioned herein, the First State Bank of Coffee Creek (called the Coffee Creek bank) was a state bank which was not affiliated with the Federal Eeserve System in any manner, so far as disclosed by the record. The Empire & State Bank of Lewistown (called the Lewistown bank) was also a state bank, but it was a component part of the Federal Eeserve System ■ — a member bank of the Federal Eeserve Bank of Minneapolis (herein called the defendant).
