The plaintiff brought this action in the district court of Jefferson county against the defendant, praying that certain deeds to real estate executed by the former to the latter be canceled and set aside; that the title to said premises be quieted in the plaintiff, and for general equitable relief. The action was based upon the alleged ground that the deeds were obtained by fraud and undue influence, and for a grossly inadequate consideration.
