The appellant was tried at a general court-martial composed of members on various dates from 10 December 1992 to 25 March 1993. Contrary to his pleas, he was convicted of one specification of rape on divers occasions and one specification of forcible sodomy with a child under the age of 16 years on divers occasions, in violation of Arti*690cles 120 and 125, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 920, 925 (1994) [hereinafter UCMJ], respectively.
