Arthur S. Boyer, a contractor of Logansport, Indiana, filed his bill of complaint in the circuit court of Champaign county to enforce a mechanic’s lien against lots 7, 8, 9 and 10 of A. J. Galloway’s subdivision of lot 23 in Galloway & Smith’s addition to Urbana, now a portion of the city of Champaign, for work done and material furnished by him in the alteration and repair of a building situated on said lots.
