At the close of all testimony, but prior to the submission of the cause to the jury, the defendants moved for a directed verdict dismissing the complaint on its merits. In accordance with the recommendations of this court, the trial judge reserved ruling-on the motion until after the return of the verdict. Zillmer v. Miglautsch (1967), 35 Wis. 2d 691, 151 N. W. 2d 741.
