Plaintiff Larry Israel filed this lawsuit, charging that defendant Sonic-Montgomery FLM, Inc., d/b/a Friendly Ford Lincoln Mercury, fired him on the basis of his age in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA), 29 U.S.C.A. §§ 621-634, and the Alabama Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1997 (AADEA), 1975 Ala.Code §§ 25-1-20 through 25-1-29.
