Now before the Court is defendants’ joint motion for summary judgment on plaintiffs’ wrongful death and survivorship claims that defendants, cigarette manufacturers, caused the death of Edward White, a smoker who developed lung and brain cancers. Also before the Court is defendants’ motion to strike the affidavit of plaintiffs’ expert, Allan Feingoldf M.D. The motion for summary judgment has been fully briefed, and no oral hearing is deemed necessary.
