OPINION

ZAPPALA, Justice.

In this appeal, we are asked to review the Order of the Commonwealth Court vacating and remanding in part the Order entered by the Workmen’s Compensation Appeal Board, which had affirmed the referee’s determination awarding total disability benefits for decedent and death benefits for his widow. Appellate review of workmen’s compensation cases is limited to determining whether constitutional rights were violated, an error of law has been committed, or the necessary findings of fact are supported by substantial compe tent evidence.
