FACTS
This is a patent infringement case. Plaintiff Calgon Corporation (“Calgon”) and defendant Nalco Chemical Company (“Nalco”) are both Delaware corporations. Calgon owns certain rights to United States Patent No. 4,656,059 (“the ’059 patent”), which covers a treating agent and method for collecting surplus paint that allows automobiles and other objects to be painted more efficiently in a wet spray booth.
