OPINION

MURRAY, Justice.

This case is before this court pursuant to a writ of certiorari filed by the plaintiff, Thomas DePetrillo, Jr. We deny the plaintiffs petition for certiorari.

Our assay of the record reveals that the facts and the procedural history of this case are as follows. On May 29, 1987, plaintiff filed for employment-security benefits with the Department of Employment Security (DES).
