GERSHON, District Judge.
Petitioner Wesley Jeremiah petitions for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. For the reasons stated below, the petition is denied.
BACKGROUND
Petitioner was indicted in connection with the 1986 shooting death of Hylton Clairmont, who died in the hospital almost two months after the shooting.
