Plaintiff, an Oregon resident, was riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycle in Idaho when she noticed that the front wheel appeared unstable. She took the motorcycle to defendant Grand Teton Cycles, LLC, a Harley-Davidson dealership in Idaho Falls, where an employee performed service and repairs. The next day, while riding in Wyoming, she was injured when the front wheel allegedly malfunctioned. She brought this action against defendant, as well as the Harley-Davidson company and the dealership that sold her the motorcycle in Oregon.
