*198The United Corporation’s present plan under § 11 of the Public Utility Holding Company Act, 15 U.S.C.A. § 79k, results in the retirement of all of its preference stock. The SEC approved the plan which provides for an exchange of each share of United’s preference stock for the following package of securities:
1 share of Public Service Electric and Gas Company Common Stock
1 share of The Columbia Gas System, Inc. Common Stock
