The complainant filed its petition (hereinafter to be called its “bill of complaint”) in the Jefferson circuit court, in which it alleged that it was a body corporate, organized under the laws of the state of Iowa, and was “an organization .instituted for the purpose of uniting railroad telegraphers, line repairers, levermen, and interlockers, employed on railroads, for the protection of their interests, to elevate their social, moral, and intellectual condition, to promote the general welfare of its membership, and to promote and encourage a mutual benefit department…
