This is an appeal from a judgment entered on a jury verdict for Plaintiff/Appel-lee. Plaintiff/Appellee was taken hostage by a prisoner who escaped from the control and custody of Defendant/Appellant, a private corporation contracting with the State of Tennessee to provide prison security.
