On August 25, 1922, C. L. Cooper and H. K. Deason and Lee Singer, all employees of the Fort Smith Light & Traction Company, hereinafter referred to as the company, were directed by the superintendent of the company to put in eight switches on .a certain pole in the city of Fort Smith. Cooper was a line foreman and was in charge of the other two men, but at the time of his injury herein sued for was performing a duty usually performed by linemen.
