The issue in this case is the treatment the Connecticut corporation business tax affords certain business gains and losses of a multistate corporation doing business in Connecticut. The plaintiff, The B. F. Goodrich Company, appealed to the trial court from an adverse determination of its 1975 tax liability by the defendant, Orest T. Dubno, commissioner of revenue services of the state of Connecticut.
