This is an original proceeding in certiorari.

The respondent has moved to quash upon three grounds, the first of which reads:

“That petitioner, Pacific States Securities Company, is a foreign corporation. That said petitioner has not complied with the provisions of the act of March 20, 1907, being sections 1348, 1349, and 1350, Revised Laws of 1912, in that it has failed to file a certified copy of its articles of incorporation in the office of the county clerk of the county where its principal place of business in Nevada was located; in that it has not paid any…
