SULLIVAN, Judge:

Appellant was tried by a military judge sitting alone as a general court-martial at Beale Air Force Base, California, on July 14, 1988. He was found guilty of larceny and housebreaking, in violation of Articles 121 and 130, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 921 and 930, respectively. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement and forfeiture of $200.00 pay per month for 8 months, and reduction to airman basic.
