Memorandum:
Defendant appeals from a judgment convicting him upon his plea of guilty of manslaughter in the first degree (Penal Law § 125.20 [1]). Contrary to defendant’s contention, *1476his waiver of the right to appeal was knowingly, intelligently, and voluntarily entered (see People v Graham, 77 AD3d 1439 [2010], lv denied 15 NY3d 920 [2010]; see generally People v Lopez, 6 NY3d 248, 256 [2006]). We agree with defendant, however, that the waiver does not encompass his further contention concerning the denial of his request for youthful offender status.
