This is an unusual appeal. Zakee Ka-leem Abdullah was convicted nearly ten years ago and was sentenced to sixty years’ imprisonment and fined $10,000.00 for offenses involving controlled substances. On April 6, 2006, the Eighth Judicial District Court of Hopkins County issued an order under statutory fíat directing payment be made from Abdullah’s inmate trust fund to reimburse the county for “court costs, fees and/or fines.” 1
