Petitioner killed a John Day police officer and later pleaded guilty to aggravated murder. ORS 163.095(2)(a)(A) (1991) (murder victim was police officer).1 In this parole review case, petitioner challenges the orders of the Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision that rescinded his scheduled release date from prison and that, after the release date had passed, reconvened a hearing to extend the release date.
