Appellants, brother and sister, are two of the heirs at law of Mary J. Neal who died intestate in April, 1932. Appellee, Gladys Neal Brandon, is the granddaughter of Mary J. Neal, and the daughter of William G. Neal who predeceased his mother, leaving his daughter, Gladys, and a granddaughter, Betty Lou Brandon, whom he had legally adopted, as his sole heirs at law. The latter is a minor and is represented in this action by her grandmother, and adoptive mother, Mrs. William G. Neal, as her guardian and next friend.
