This is a proceeding for the dissolution of the captioned nonprofit corporation in which the dispute arises over the disposition of its considerable assets.

The subject corporation was organized in 1905 for the purpose, stated in its articles:

“For the purpose of encouraging and promoting the study of social, industrial and economic problems and a general literary improvement among its members by means of courses of instruction to be offered to the members by lectures and by the maintenance of a well equipped library”.
