Tbe controversy in tbis proceeding is over tbe distribution of tbe property of Odd Fellows Hall Association of Center Square (Hall Association), a corporation formed by special act of April 21, 1852, P. L, 391. Section 5 of that act provided: “That tbe object of said association shall be to provide, erect, and furnish a ball or suitable building or buildings at or near Center Square, in Whitpain Township, in tbe County of Montgomery, for the accommodation of various lodges and encampments of tbe Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and for other purposes.” Plaintiff, *17Grand…
