I. INTRODUCTION

This is a civil forfeiture action brought against funds held in several Colombian bank accounts. The government seeks to have the money in the defendant accounts forfeited to the government pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 981(a)(1)(A) and 21 U.S.C. § 881(a)(6).
