The appellee brought this suit against the appellant to recover the compensation due him under what is known as the Texas Employers’ Diability Act or Workmen’s Compensation Daw of this state (Vernon’s Ann. Civ. St. Supp. 1918, arts. 5246 — 1 to 5246 — 91), on account of personal injuries alleged to have been sustained as the result' of an accident to him while in the employment of the Republic Box Company at Dallas, Tex.
