In June 2002, the plaintiff, Ben Siwa, as the special administrator of the estate of Victor Siwa (Victor), deceased, filed this medical malpractice action in the circuit court of Cook County against the defendants, Dr. Donald Koch (Dr. Koch), Village Radiology, Ltd.
