Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court (Garry, J.), entered July 23, 2007 in Tompkins County, which denied defendants’ motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.

Plaintiff commenced this action seeking to recover for injuries allegedly sustained in November 2003 when the bedroom window in her apartment purportedly dropped while she was looking out of it, striking her on the head. At the time of the incident, plaintiffs apartment was owned by defendant Caren Baldini and managed by defendant Certified Properties of Tompkins County, Inc.
