MEMORANDUM
ROBERT L. TAYLOR, District Judge.
This suit is an interpleader filed by the Government, the stakeholder, to determine the proper beneficiary of a National Service (GI) Life Insurance Policy. 38 U.S.C. § 784.
On January 17, 1949, the deceased serviceman, Earl W. Dockery, contracted with the Government for a $10,000.00 life insurance policy. He designated his mother in her maiden name, Clara M.
