This is a suit to enjoin the collection of taxes. The essential facts are not in dispute. The plaintiff is an iron mining corporation organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Michigan and operates mines within the city of Wakefield under leases. The city of Wake-field is a municipal corporation existing under and by virtue of the home-rule act with a charter which became effective March 16,1920.
