In 1984, plaintiffs — Bell Building Associates, a Texas general partnership, and its two general partners, Larry M. Kachler and Sterling B. McCall, Jr., also from Texas— executed an agreement with Standard Realty & Investment Company, Inc., and its president, W. Robbins Taylor, Sr., for the acquisition of an office complex at 207 Montgomery Street in Montgomery, Alabama.
