In March, 1903, the contestee, Bowlby, was appointed to the office of county treasurer of Saline county and has held that office from that time. At the general election of the same year he ivas elected county treasurer for the term commencing on the first Thursday after the first Tuesday of January, 1904, and again at the general election in 1905 he was elected for the term beginning-in January, 1906.
