This is an appeal from the refusal of the court below to grant a new trial after the jury rendered a verdict in favor of the defendant, in an action of trespass brought against the Borough of Wilson by Madelina Ferreira and Arthur Ferreira, her husband, to recover damages for injuries sustained by the wife-plaintiff while riding in an automobile on a borough highway and to recover the expenditures made by the husband as a result of those injuries.
