I. Thomas R. Campbell died unmarried and intestate in Jasper county, Iowa, in September, 1911, possessed of real estate and personal property of large value. Following his death, the plaintiff brought this action in equity to quiet title in her to all the real estate, averring that she was the illegitimate child of Thomas R. Campbell, that she was born on or about February 25, 1869, in Timber Creek township, Marshall county, Iowa, and that during the lifetime of her said father, she was recognized by him as his child, and that such recognition was general and notorious.
