[¶ 1] Donna MacDonald appeals from the judgment entered in the Superior Court (Kennebec County, Alexander. J.) after a jury trial convicting her of arson (Class A) pursuant to 17-A M.R.S.A § 802 (1983 & Supp.1997). 1 MacDonald contends that the court erred by excluding the testimony of her expert witness, that the prosecutor made inappropriate comments during closing argument, and that the sentence imposed upon her is excessive.
